During each service a reader, also known as a lector, reads one or both of the Old and New Testament lessons and the Episcopal Prayers of the People.
Lectors are parishioners who simply volunteer to undertake this task. No special training or qualifications are required, except the desire to glorify God in our worship. If you have an interest in serving as a reader/lector, please get in touch with the Priest. You will be glad you did!
